The Eastman MD505CC/TV A-Style Mandolin is a hand-built instrument featuring a solid Sitka spruce top and solid maple back and sides, which together deliver a bright, punchy tone with the percussive "bark" required for bluegrass and the warmth suitable for Celtic and jazz styles.
This tasteful mandolin is finished in Truetone Vintage (TV) gloss, a thin, varnish-like finish designed to enhance resonance and provide a classic, broken-in aesthetic. It's further equipped with an ebony radiused fingerboard, pearl dot inlays, a bone nut, and a professional-grade adjustable ebony bridge. Includes fitted hard case.
