Every Iris Guitar is made by hand in Burlington, Vermont in the same small shop as Circle Strings and Creston Guitars, with the same fine attention to detail and quality as these world class instruments. Iris Guitars has streamlined the build process by focusing on one model with limited options to keep it simple and help make a more affordable version of the incredible instruments coming out of the same shop for years.
The OG Model features the familiar in-hand feel of a 1 11/16" nut and breezy 25" scale, while a crisp and resonant Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides ensures fingerstyle and chording absolutely sing with the balanced, saturated voice we'd expect from a lovingly handcrafted instrument. Scalloped Adirondack spruce bracing and tastefully spare, vintage-inspired accents make this a true player's instrument, at a price that won't make you hesitate to bring this one to every session! Strung with Santa Cruz Parabolic Tension strings.
