This is our version of the Vega Whyte Laydie banjo from the turn of the century. This blond bombshell features a scalloped "electric" tone ring also know as the Whyte Laydie tone ring and is made in house by hand and molded with exacting specifications from an original, making the tone unmistakable from nearly a century ago when it was first created. The Pisgah Laydie presents amazing volume, punchiness, and great responsiveness for playability. Staying true to its ancestor, we are keeping this model in the "Whyte" with no stain. The Pisgah Laydie is definitely a show stopper in any banjo setting!
Good volume, nice punch, very responsive tone.
