Similar to the Rambler Dobson but with a few upgrades. Available in walnut, this banjo comes with an aged brass 12" rim. The softer metal gives this banjo a little warmer tone while maintaining sustain and projection. Another upgrade to this banjo is the Pisgah Hawktail tailpiece. This allows for more downward pressure on the bridge so that there is better clarity on each note.
Good sustain, warm projecting tone. Less sustain w/o dobson tone ring.
