1906 Vega resonator tenor banjo built in Boston, MA. This instrument features a "torch" inlay on the headstock and an inlaid ebony fingerboard, paired with an 11" rim. Constructed during Vega's early 20th-century production, the banjo carries period appointments typical of instruments intended for jazz and dance-band players of the era. This Vega's 11" rim gives it a compact tonal center that suits tenor tuning and ensemble work.
