The Dean Backwoods 6 Banjo Six String is a hybrid instrument designed to give guitarists an effortless entry into the world of banjo sound without forcing them to learn a new tuning or technique. Built with a familiar 6-string guitar configuration, standard E-A-D-G-B-E tuning, a 25.5" scale length, and a comfortable 1-11/16" nut width, it plays just like an acoustic guitar while delivering classic banjo twang.
The instrument features an 11" Remo head set on a natural gloss Mahogany body and resonator, a bolt-on Nyatoh neck with a C-shaped profile, a 21-fret black walnut fingerboard, and a maple and black walnut bridge. Finished off with sleek black chrome hardware and die-cast tuners, it offers rich resonance, dependable tuning stability, and distinct visual appeal for players looking to broaden their acoustic palette.
